Our Radiologists use a variety of imaging techniques such as X-ray, radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography etc. to diagnose and treat diseases seen within the body. Ultrasonography : the ultrasonography department has got two high end colour doppler ultrasound machins—(1) GE logiq p6 and ( 2) Samsung medison 8000 ex prime. The tests done regularly are--colour doppler ,usg of whole abdomen , usg of small parts like breast, thyroid, eye, testes etc., peripherl doppler of artery, vein, skin and soft tissue , trans vaginal usg, usg guided drainage of body fluids and abscess, usg guided f.n.a.c.etc . (b) CT Scan : The radiology division has one spiral ct scan (dual slice ) - siemens emotion duo. ct scan of whole body plus ct guided f.n.a.c. arethe daily routine procedure of the clinic. (3)X-RAY : Radiology department has one digital x ray unit ( AGFA- cr- 30 x ) All routine x ray, barium swallow, barium meal, follow through & enema, I.V.U,M.C.U., T Tube Cholangiogram are done regularly.
